September 29 -"I Haven’t Done Enough For The Miracle I Need."

Today we are fasting from the thought that says, "I haven't done enough for the miracle I need."  

The #1 thing stopping us from receiving from God is our thinking. Religion has taught us that we must earn God’s love, His healing, and His miracles. True Christianity is the opposite of this. It's not about what we have or haven’t done. It's about what Jesus has done!  That’s grace.

LET'S CHANGE IT TODAY

1. Jesus did it all! Miracles are acts of God’s grace. It's not about what we've done; but what He did. Believe that the finished work of Jesus is enough for your miracle. (John 19:30.)

2. Trust the character of God. He's the same yesterday, today & forever (Hebrews 13:8). What He did for others, He will do for you! Those who experienced a miracle, simply believed that God was willing & able. Believe that today.

3. We don’t have to work for a miracle. HE WORKS MIRACLES among us, by faith. (Galatians 3:5.) It's not through our works; efforts, tears or even our holiness. It's through His grace, His love, and His compassion for us. Galatians 3:5 says that He works miracles among us, simply by us hearing the Word and accepting it. That’s faith in His grace!

4. Look up, expecting to receive. (Acts 3:5.) Miracles happen in an atmosphere of expectation. Expect God’s miracle power today! He doesn’t do it because of our holiness, but because of faith in His name. (Acts 3:12, 16.)

5. Feed your faith with the Word of God. (Mark 6:5-6.) The remedy for unbelief is God's Word, not trying harder to believe. Faith comes from hearing His Word. Keep a stream of God's Word flowing into your eyes, ears & heart. Faith will soar; and miracles will happen!

THINK IT AND SAY IT

God's miracles aren't something I have to earn, work for or deserve. They are acts of favor & grace. Jesus did all that is necessary for me to receive His works of power in my life. I take Him at His Word and expect Him to work miracles in my midst, just as He promised, in Jesus' Name!
